Christmas Superstar

Hey family and friends! Merry Christmas!! I wanted to share with you this amazing drawing of our little boy, Tyler. A guy from our church asked to draw him for a magazine (Teach Kids - Nov/Dec 2006 Issue). We're so proud and thankful for our little boy! He's quite the photogeneic prodigy. Not sure where he gets that from.....We love you all!!

Pumpkin Pie

Well, we had quite a time preparing for the trick-or-treaters! We just got back from a weekend trip to Ohio to see our good friends near Dayton. We got back Sunday afternoon, carved pumpkins Sunday night and got the final touches ready on the costumes.














On Sunday afternoon, we went out to a pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins. There was lots of fun activities to do for the kiddos: horseback riding, a petting zoo (rabbit village?), food and a clever little 'train' ride (that was really a lawn mower dressed up as a train). The kids didn't care, they loved it!

A warm fall day...

Today the kids and me played in the yard. It was so pretty and the colors magnificent. I took the camera out and got several really good shots! Tyler had a blast!

Isaac and Abby were willing to sit still for poses but Patrick was a crab and refused to pose or smile! He plays so hard and was not about to stop for a picture! Oh well, I took some of him in action.

Abby played in the back ditch where the leaves are deep and Isaac helped me take pictures of Tyler and Patrick ran around like a mad man, cleaning the garage, raking leaves, and learning to swing. Maggie layed around and chewed on sticks, tormenting the squirrels threatening to overtake the yard!
